milk and honey by rupi kaur

Rupi Kaur tells her story of heartbreak and personal growth though poetry. With a feminist edge, addressing some very real issues on family and relationships, I find myself wanting to read her poems on repeat, and my book was full of page markers by the end of it!

A short book of poetry, simple to read, but with some heavy messages. I highly recommend this read for anyone wanting to escape into something gritty and philosophical for the afternoon with a cup of tea or a glass of red and plenty of blankets.
